Install
Download the Windows installer from the download page, run it, and open Taskmin from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. If Windows asks for confirmation, check that the app name says Taskmin before continuing.
- Close Taskmin before reinstalling a newer version.
- Use the free offline workspace if you are working on one computer.
- Sign in only when you want to use cloud sync.
Core concepts
Taskmin is built for one person managing personal work, home projects, side projects, and plans. Projects can hold workstreams and tasks. Tasks can be viewed in a table or a Gantt-style timeline. Notes can sit beside the work they support.
Workspace areas
- Inbox captures loose thoughts until you decide what they are.
- Tasks gives you table and timeline views for project work.
- Calendar shows events, trips, and dated work in one place.
- Notes organizes notebooks, sections, pages, templates, and project details.
- Settings lets you choose themes, sync behavior, backups, and optional AI features.
AI choices
Taskmin does not require AI. You can turn AI features off and use the planner normally. If you like using AI tools, Taskmin includes options for chat, reviewed imports, and local tool connections when your setup supports them.
Sync and backups
The free version keeps your workspace local. Paid Cloud is for people who want to sync across multiple machines. Either way, keep your own backup of important information while Taskmin is in beta.
Current beta notes
- Windows is the first public beta platform.
- A Mac version is planned after the Windows beta settles.
- Paid Cloud access is rolling out gradually.
- Some features may change as feedback comes in.
- Use the support page if something feels broken or confusing.
